Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon ghee, softened
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 jar of medium salsa
- 1 jar of diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon hot chilli sauce
- salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the onion and garlic for about 4 minutes.
- Add ground beef, season with salt and ground pepper. Cook just long enough to brown the meat.
- Stir in the tomato paste. Add salsa, tomatoes, chili powder and chili sauce to meat mixture. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for about 15 minutes; stirring often.
- Ladle into bowls and serve hot.
